As a family-owned group of independent businesses it is important that we adhere to strict ethical standards in order to demonstrate corporate social responsibility within both the sectors and communities we operate in.

As such, our core values are based not only on our vision to grow and develop as a successful organization, but also to provide real value to our clients and employees.

To ensure that this policy is applied practically across all ‘UandH’ branded companies, we have established 9 brand values that capture the ethical thrust we want to achieve for the UandH Group.

  • Leadership – the courage to shape a better future
  • Accountability – be accountable for our actions and inactions
  • Integrity – we behave ethically and are respectful, open, honest and real
  • Quality – a commitment to excellence without compromise
  • Commitment – assist in our clients’ success by providing exceptional service and personal relationships
  • Professionalism – we provide the best engineering available to meet client needs
  • Innovation – we develop better engineering solutions through continuous learning
  • Loyalty – we make every effort to attract and retain excellent, motivated employees, who are the source of our success
  • Brand – to reflect the brand in all aspects of work and contact with clients, colleagues and the public. To be part of the UandH family

We also strive to go above and beyond required standards, demonstrating compliance and proactivity in the following areas:

In our approach to procuring contracts, we strive to provide the best possible solution and deliver great value to every project, no matter how large or small.

Since the formation of UandH Design in 2017 we have procured a large number of contracts with firms in the building material & ceramics, Steel, Food and other sectors, all being selected for the opportunities on offer and the significance to procurement progress rather than solely for monetary gain.

This philosophy has led to us becoming partners for many of the region’s most respected organisations.

Protecting people and the environment is one of our core considerations at the
UandH Group. Every project undertaken is done so with the utmost respect to environmental and social responsibilities, to ensure that every solution we provide not only improves the workplace environment in which they are deployed but also sustains the natural environment surrounding their use.

We are ISO 14001 registered – a certification mapping out the framework that companies or organizations can follow in order to set up an effective environmental management system. This means that we can provide assurance to our stakeholders that environmental impact is always measured and improved within the UandH Group.

Since the formation of UandH Group in 2017, it has been our goal to achieve sustainable growth by being the number one provider of Integrated Procurement Solutions in the Western region.

To this end, our annual turnover has consistently increased and we have actively pursued opportunities for the expansion of our services and operations, recruitment and procurement of prestigious and challenging contracts.

We believe that by demonstrating sustainable growth we can consistently provide significant benefits to all key company stakeholders, including our clients, our staff and suppliers.

With over 200+ personnel working across our companies it is very important for us to demonstrate compliance with diversity standards.

Over the time we have devoted ourselves to creating a work environment that provides all our employees and associates equal opportunities for career development.

Whilst we are based in the western region, we actively recruit the personnel from across India and abroad that we feel will add value to our operations and clients. We also apply this philosophy to our recruitment agencies – UandH People and UandH Recruitment – recruiting staff for employers based only on their professional credentials and character.

In restructuring the Group in 2018 it was important that all our companies demonstrate an inclusive and communal workplace environment, which we believe to be critical to the long term sustainability of our organization.
